About Paco Design

Owned by Gilberto Navas-Cotte and Paul Askew who started the company as an online store in March 2010. Their aim is to share a passion for good design and innovation by sourcing unique products and importing into New Zealand. Gil relocated to New Zealand from Colombia in 2008 and maintains strong ties back to the textile/fashion industry in Colombia.

The Paco Design Store showroom boutique opened mid-2011 and is located in St Kevin’s Arcade, Auckland, one of the coolest arcades in the city!

The Paco Design Store is a bright minimalist haven to South American fashion and design.

Stocked Brands

CYCLUS accessories, made from recycled urban materials.
Inner tubes are transformed into bold designs, in the form of handbags, messenger bags, laptop bags and wallets. Cyclus design and manufacture in Bogota, Colombia.

The CARGA collection is batch-produced in a family-run workshop in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Each bag carries and metal disc embossed with its own serial number.
